In going about our daily tasks we all make use of scientific appliances capable of improving the quality of our lives. However, awareness of the true value of scientific discoveries should be increased if science is to continue to exert a beneficial effect on society.
The aim of the festival is to convey the “pleasure” of discovery to all, focusing particularly on the younger members of society. For this reason a programme of keynote events and stimulating conferences to be held by renowned speakers has been set up with the aim of communicating directly with the public-at-large.
