Twelve years after the last edition, the XIX Biennial of Sardinian Artisan Crafts promoted by the Sardinian Regional Authorities opens in Sassari with a new formula: through the creation of 250 items, 33 designers (including James Irvine, Palomba and Serafini, Angelo Figus, Maria Calderara, Paolo Ulian, Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, Setsu and Shinobu Ito, to name but a few) together with 61 Sardinian workshops skilfully reinvent artisan crafts in one of the regions characterised by a long-standing tradition in the field.
Open until August 29th 2009 in Sassari at “IL CARMELO”, via Archivolto del Carmine.
Open from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 1pm and 5pm to 9pm.
