Friday December 18th at 6pm: Nicola Lecca presents the first volume in the series entitled “Cagliari“.
T Hotel takes on the role of editor to regale its guests with unprecedented sensations.
An ambitious editorial project seeing the participation of nine leading contemporary Sardinian writers aimed at an extensive readership in view of the large number of volumes printed and the bilingual edition with English translation by Virginia Jewiss.
A total of three volumes will be published. The protagonists of the first volume, Alberto Capitta, Marcello Fois and Nicola Lecca illustrate the town by focusing on congenial issues and environments. Fois sets his story in a hotel room outlining a lively dialogue between himself and his alter-ego, Capitta opts to guide the reader between trains and stations of days gone by, whilst Nicola Lecca tells of Via Garibaldi in the fifties and the ice-creams in the Piccolo caffè.
Nicola Lecca, producer of the series, has not yet announced the names of the writers to take part in the third volume to be published in 2011.
A complimentary copy of the book will be given to all those present at the presentation of the series in Cagliari this Friday at 6pm.
