To celebrate Carnival the municipal government has organised aparade of ethnic Sardinian masks and the “Ratantira” pageant accompanied by the beating of drums and salacious rhymes chanted by the masked paraders, terminating with the burning of “Re Cancioffali” (The Carnival King) and a firework display.
